Why I Love the Easy Clean Bento + My Kid's Favourite Snack
I am always looking for new ways to make life healthier, easier and more enjoyable for my family. As a working mum with two girls aged 2 and 4, life can be pretty hectic on the best of days, and I find that a lot of my time revolves around ensuring that my girls have delicious and healthy meals and snacks that I know they are going to eat!
Having tried numerous lunchboxes, various containers and different bento style lunchboxes over the years, I was continually disappointed by the poor quality and the waste of time and money that these options consumed. I have spent numerous months looking for the ultimate lunchbox solution for my children and our active, on-the-go lifestyle. Imagine my delight when I found the My Family Kids Brand Easy Clean Bento!
The Easy Clean Bento ticked all of the boxes that I had. And whilst they are slightly more expensive than the supermarket brands (which failed miserably), they are well worth the investment. Not only do they save me time and money, my kids love them!
First and foremost, the reason that made me decide to try the Easy Clean Bento was the fact that they’re backed by a 12-month warranty! With an item that is being used at least once per day, to back them with this sort of warranty means that they must be tough – and they sure are that! Most cheap department store options are designed with consumerism in mind. They only last about a term, requiring us to continually use and replace – something that has always frustrated me! The My Family Kids Brand products are tried and tested and whilst they are slightly more expensive, they very quickly make up for it by lasting the test of time! Both great for the environment and for my hip pocket!
As a mum, I am very wary about what my children eat, this includes what potential chemicals may be leaching into my kids food. I thoroughly research the brands that I buy for my kids and I know that I can trust that what they are eating, and drinking is safe from all nasties! The Easy Clean Bento (and all My Family Kids Brand products for that matter), are free from any toxins. There is not one trace of BPA, are all nontoxic and are independently tested for quality purposes. Another tick on my list!
I must admit, I have had serious mould issues with previous Bento lunchboxes I have purchased in the past. Some I have had, there has been no way to be able to fully clean the lunchbox, meaning that it is a health hazard just waiting to happen – putting my children’s health at risk. Finding a lunchbox that was able to be completely cleaned was a requirement and the Easy Clean Bento fulfils that requirement! With 100% mould free guarantee, it was an easy option!
Providing my children with healthy and nutritious meals and snacks is very important to me. My children are ‘grazers’ and the Easy Clean Bento enables me to pack a selection of foods with the added bonus of not having to use additional packaging which would otherwise go to landfill. After having used the My Family Kids Brand Bento for some time, I have fallen in love with how easy it is to create those healthy and nutritious meals and snacks, customised to my children’s needs. It truly does make mealtimes exciting. Whilst my 2 year old will not sit down to eat a wrap or sandwich, I use for her, the 6 compartment grazing tray, and for my 4 year old, I take away the two removable trays so that we have one big section for her wrap and 3 small sections for a few snacks.
I have gone from struggling with my children to eat their food, to my toddler wanting to use hers for every meal!
As a busy working mum, I love whipping up quick and easy, nutritious snacks that I can pop in the fridge and use throughout the week in my kid’s bentos. My Easy Bliss Ball recipe is a favourite with my girls (and my husband) and is always on rotation at my house! They are the perfect snack to include in your My Family Kids Brand Bento Lunchbox – try it today! You won’t be disappointed!
